Bowlegged Sailback

hee, another dragon species that I came up with today.

The Bowlegged Sailback.

A desert dwelling species of dragon that is flightless, however can glide very short distances with the sails on it's back. It uses these sails for heating and cooling itself (much like a dimetrodon). It is about the size of a large house cat and are excellent diggers. They are able to dig a large enough hole to haul themselves in, when in danger, in less than a minute. Sailbacks are generally reclusive and it is very rare to see more than two within the same vicinity unless during mating season.
